Registering a domain and hosting one is commonly mistaken by many people to be one and the same thing. These are in reality 2 different services - the domain name registration is the actual name and nothing more, while the hosted domains feature refers to the amount of already registered domains you can accommodate within the same website hosting account and have website files and e-mails for them. Your sites will function in exactly the same way no matter if the domain names are registered and hosted at the same place or are registered with company A and directed to company B. Simply registering a domain address without hosting it will grant you ownership, but will not enable you to have a website if you don't host this domain address in some account so that records for it are created and it starts opening the data from that account.

Hosted Domains in Cloud Hosting

The cloud hosting plans we provide allow you to host a different number of domain addresses. In this way, you can select what package to purchase and how much to pay based on your requirements. If you choose to host more domain addresses later on than the amount the current plan allows you to, you can easily upgrade your entire plan or keep the same one and just add more slots for hosted domain addresses. If you choose to use the registration services of some other company, you will be able to see the name servers that you have to set for your domains so as to point them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains section of the Control Panel on our end. If you want to have everything in 1 place, however, there is no limit on the amount of domain addresses which you can register/transfer in your account no matter the hosting package which you have selected. Then you could decide if you'll host any of them or you'll forward them to other existing domains.
